FS2002 "Red Arrows" Display Team Splashscreens
----------------------------------------------

**THESE SPLASHSCREENS WERE CREATED USING THE EXCELLENT FREEWARE PROGRAM "FS-DESIGN BERLIN SCREENSHOT MANAGER"**

Furthermore, four shots incorporate John Young's excellent FS2002 add-on for the 'Reds' current home base, RAF Scampton. File names are scamp3.zip, scamp3af.zip. John's 'Easter Egg' is "The Dambusters" Inn in Scampton village. Let's hope the lads don't get parking tickets. No doubt they're having Cokes.

REDSHOTS.ZIP includes a revised version of the Splashscreen shipped with REDPACK7.ZIP, which did not display correctly on some computers owing to the 'true colour' format. The file name of this shot is DLGSPLASH.BMP. Please refer carefully to installation instructions below to replace this file with the one supplied here.

Installing the Splashscreens
____________________________

1. Unzip the file REDSHOTS.ZIP to a temporary folder.

2. If you have installed Dreamfleet's SplashScreen Randomizer on your system, move all files in the folder REDSHOTS within REDSHOTS.ZIP to the folder:

........... \Microsoft Games\FS2002\UIRES\SplashScreens\

All shots will appear randomly when you start FS2002. Make sure you back up any files of the same name first, if you so wish; although if you have already installed the Splashscreen downloaded with REDPACK7.ZIP as DLGSPLASH.BMP, you should overwrite it.

3. If you have not installed Dreamfleet's SplashScreen Randomizer you can only overwrite the standard splashscreen by installing these pictures individually from time to time. Keep the folder REDSHOTS somewhere convenient: such as in your RED ARROWS DOCUMENTS folder if you have previously installed any REDPACK downloads.

You'll find the relevant folder for your splashscreen at:

........... \Microsoft Games\FS2002\UIRES\

Go there using Windows Explorer, and then back up the existing file DLGSPLASH.BMP if you think you might want to use it again (yeah, right) in the future.

COPY any one of your new screenshots to the UIRES folder. Rename it DLGSPLASH.BMP. Note that if you have already installed the Splashscreen downloaded with REDPACK7.ZIP as DLGSPLASH.BMP, you should overwrite that. That's it. The picture will come onscreen every time you start up FS2002; which, now having the 'Red Arrows' on your system, should be often! Any time you want a change, simply repeat the process using a new image.
